SHARE: Truck driver flees after N3 horror crash

The driver is reportedly a Zimbabwean national.

Six people died in last week's accident on the N3.

POLICE are looking for one of the truck drivers, involved in the N3 horror crash which claimed the lives of six people on Friday, 17 February.

Capt Elizabeth Squires, communications officer at Westville SAPS, said the driver of a white international truck, with registration SVY988GP, fled the scene of the accident and is still at large. The driver is reportedly a Zimbabwean national.

The accident, which occurred on the N3 freeway Durban bound, opposite the Pavilion, involved two trucks and a taxi. The taxi was sandwiched by the two trucks.
