Woman (59) mauled to death by dogs
In a separate incident, another man believed to be in his 20s was attacked by three dogs in Westville.
A 59-YEAR-OLD woman was mauled and killed by dogs in Inchanga on Wednesday night.
According to a report, the woman was walking home at night when she was attacked by a pack of dogs. It is believed, the woman screamed for help but did not receive any assistance. The woman died at the scene due to the severe injuries she suffered.
In a separate incident, a man, believed to be in his 20s, was attacked by three dogs while walking home on Blair Athol Road in Westville on Thursday.
Paramedics found the man sitting on the pavement. ER24 paramedics spokesman, Russel Meiring said the man sustained numerous bite wounds on his legs and arms.
“It is believed the man had been attacked by three dogs while walking home from work. A passing motorist witnessed the attack and immediately came to the victim’s aid,” said Meiring.
He was treated at the scene and then taken to King Edward Hospital.
