Hop along to evening with froggie friends

There will also be a number of educational activities aimed at primary school learners.

THE Kloof Conservancy will host a back-to-nature frog evening at Tanglewood Farm on Saturday, 18 February with amphibian expert, Dr Jeanne Tarrant. Everyone is invited to join an evening of frog hunting.

It will be a fun evening and have a number of information/education activities aimed at primary school learners. The activities are planned in the late afternoon before the ‘frog hunt’ which will take place after dark.

People can take their own picnic basket to enjoy this relaxed evening in the beautiful setting of Tanglewood Farm.

There will be cooldrinks and wors rolls on sale and don’t forget torches or headlamps, gumboots and buckets. This is a joint venture initiative with the Endangered Wildlife Trust’s – Endangered Amphibian Programme. All funds raised will be donated to the programme.

The gate will be opened at 4pm and it will cost R30 per person and R15 for children under the age of 12.
