The organisation combines nutrition and education as a hand in glove approach to educational development.

REGISTERED NGO, the Food for Life (FFL) Children’s Projects, is looking for volunteers to assist in its aim to spread educational development locally. He appeals to university students, educators, learners and anyone with relevant skills and experience to give of their time.

“The project supports many schools, crèches, children’s homes and communities where there are children in the greater Queensburgh area.

This support includes nutrition, the provision of stationery and learning aids as well as organising and funding various excursions. Facilitating various seminars and workshops on sustainability and life orientation skills also forms part of the outreach activities,” said manager, Divesh Maharaj.
