Boy (6) hit by a car, Hillcrest

Several advanced life support interventions were used to save the boy's life.

A SIX-YEAR-OLD boy was seriously injured and in a critical condition on Thursday afternoon when he was knocked over by a car in Old Main Road, Hillcrest.

ER24 spokesman, Russel Meiring said paramedics found the child lying in the road being tended to by members of the public.

“The child was found to be in a critical condition and the paramedics had to provide the boy with several advanced life support interventions,” said Meiring.

The child was transported to Inkosi Albert Luthuli Hospital.
