SPONSOR a kennel or cattery enclosure at the Kloof and Highway SPCA on behalf of a loved one this New Year.
The donation of R150 a month will make a significant difference in the lives of abused, frightened, lost and scared animals that are given shelter and protection at the local organisation.
The NPO has 44 kennels, 24 socialisation runs, 10 puppy run enclosures and 16 cat and 13 kitten enclosures.
“The funds generated from sponsorships is income we can count on for the up-keep of these enclosures, enrichment and toys to keep animals busy while they are waiting to find their forever home, and the day-to-day care and treatment of the animals in our care,” said Lisa Mörck, the PR and outreach officer at the NPO.
Sponsorship will be acknowledged by a special plaque that will be placed in the enclosure with a personal message of a sponsor’s choice on it – whether it is in loving memory of a passed loved one, passed pets, an anniversary, special date or occasion.
“It is the perfect, meaningful gift and it is giving back to the animals. We value every member of our community who has sponsored an enclosure as they are making a direct impact on the well-being of the animals in our care. We would like to encourage more members of our community to sponsor a kennel and or/cat enclosure,” said Lisa.
