A WOMAN was seriously injured in a collision on the M13 West bound in Pinetown earlier today.
According to Chris Botha of Netcare 911, it is believed that two people travelling on a bike towards Kloof were rounding a bend when it veered off the road and slammed into Armco barriers.
“Paramedics from Netcare 911 and the provincial services arrived found the woman passenger to have sustained serious injuries. The driver escaped with minor injuries but refused treatment,” said Botha.
Paramedics treated the injured woman before a private service transported her to a local hospital.
Police will be investigating the crash.
