Waterfall College’s matriculants make history

The school celebrated a 100 per cent pass rate and increased Bachelor Degree passes.

THE class of 2016 at Waterfall College achieved the highest set of results in the history of the school.

According to Jeanette van der Merwe, the principal of Waterfall College, the school’s matrics achieved a 100 per cent pass rate and the Bachelor Degree pass rate improved from 85 per cent to 88 per cent.

“Waterfall College continues to strive for academic excellence. We stand in awe of the improved results that have been achieved due to the determined effort of our matriculants, the dedication of our teachers and the support and encouragement of our matric parents,” said Jeanette. “A number of subject averages have improved. In our school’s history, the class of 2016 has scored the best results to date with 50 per cent of learners achieving above a 70 per cent average.”

Jeanette said she was particularly pleased to congratulate the matrics who achieved Bachelor Degree passes. “We wish the class of 2016 God’s blessing in pursuing their future careers.”
