ONE of the highlights of the Grade 2 year at St Benedict School is when the learners are treated to a year-end visit by Buddy Bear.
This year, each learner built their own reindeer. After completing their reindeers with a heart and the necessary toy stuffing, the learners weighed and measured it before receiving a birth certificate for their creations.
They also got to groom and dress their new pet. There was excitement among the learners and lots of special memories were made.
The following day, the Grade 2 learners had a Thanksgiving picnic where they were joined by their new ‘pets’ for the day to share in the fun and count their blessings.
