New market offers exciting products

There is something for the whole family at Botha's Hill Market.

RETIRED advocate, Natalie Lange, has started a market in Botha’s Hill to help people promote their handiwork and make an income.

The Botha’s Hill market started on Sunday, 13 November and will be held every Sunday at 2 Rob Rot Crescent in Botha’s Hill from 10am to 3pm.

Lange said when she retired she wanted something to keep her busy and help her make a difference through her project.

“I have been travelling around the world in the past months and now I am back and I want to keep Botha’s Hill as the nice small village which it has always been. At the market, there are 65 stall holders and there are also activities and games for the children. We have a lot of interesting people and products. There is an NGO from KwaNyuswa, Yenzanathi Community Project that sells fresh vegetables. We also have people who sell arts, wire, clothes and woodwork,” said Lange.

Lange said Anti-cruelty also has a stall at the market. There is also delicious food from various countries, sushi, samosas, Thai, Indonesia food and a tea garden. Residents who have concerns about the weather when they want to visit the market or if they would like to book a space, can contact Lange on 083 564 3335.
