Car crashes into New Germany home

It is believed the driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll down the embankment, over the wall and crash into the house.

THREE women were injured when the vehicle they were travelling in crashed into a house on Sandhurst Drive in New Germany this morning. When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene, they found the light motor vehicle lying on the driveway of the residence. The three occupants had already been removed from the vehicle by members of the community.

Paramedics assessed the women and found that their injuries ranged from minor to moderate. Fortunately, no serious or fatal injuries were reported. The women were treated and then transported to Life Westville Hospital.

It is believed that the driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll down the embankment, over the wall and crash into the residence. Local authorities are investigating.
