TWO men were injured when a truck overturned and crashed into a concrete barrier on the M13 near the Rockdale turnoff in Westville this morning.
The two occupants of the truck are believed to have been ejected from the vehicle during the crash. Russel
Meiring, ER24’s spokesman, said the two men were found lying in front of the vehicle. “It is understood that the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing the truck to smash into the barrier and eject both occupants,” he said.
One of the commuters was seriously injured and the other man had critical injuries. “Paramedics immediately began their treatment and initiated advanced life support on both patients,” said Meiring.
Once treated, both men were transported to St Augustine’s Hospital.
