Radio presenter celebrates her birthday with the elderly

Phindi K donated soup to the Wyebank Senior Citizens Club for her 30th birthday.

TO celebrate her 30th birthday, Imbokodo FM presenter, Phindi K – The Diva donated soup to the Wyebank Senior Citizens Club.

“Instead of throwing a party, I decided to give back to the community and celebrate with people who do good in the community.

“Elderly people do so much for the community and they deserve to be spoiled,” she said.

Phindi K received the soup donation from Imana Foods.

The Wyebank Senior Citizens Club was started by Wyebank resident, Zanele Mpungose.

The aim of the club is for the elderly people to meet and have something to keep them busy and entertained during the day.

“Some of the old people live under terrible circumstances as they take care of their grandchildren with their pension money.
