PBHS remember fallen heroes

Pinetown Boys' High School Remembrance Day.

PINETOWN Boys’ High School hosted its annual Remembrance Day on Thursday, 2 September.

Raysellan Naidoo, PBHS principal said this was a special day where people are encouraged to remember those who have passed away.

“We need to remember those whose lives were taken in the service of their country, those who acquitted themselves with valour and courage.

Naidoo said the remembrance day also encourages the staff and pupils to remember the PBHS family who have died; headmasters, teachers and pupils.

“It is a day to salute and remember all these people and to be reminded that life is extremely fragile, in remembering them we are reminded to live our lives to the full and in the service of others,” said Naidoo.

The event was attended by members of Umvoti Mounted Rifles, 3 Parachute Battalion, MOTHS, parents and friends who laid wreaths to salute, honour and remember their loved ones.
