Give the gift of hearing

The aim of this event is to create awareness on the Decibel Cochlear Campaign, which can bring a whole new world to hearing-impaired people.

THE Decibel Cochlear Campaign will host a masquerade ball fundraiser at the Kloof Country Club on 17 September.

The aim of this event is to create awareness on the Decibel Cochlear Campaign, which can bring a whole new world to hearing-impaired people, create awareness of the need for resources to restore disadvantaged people’s hearing, mobilise resources and elicit public support – locally, nationally and internationally – for the Decibel Cochlear Campaign, raise funds to yearly restore the hearing of about three candidates who qualify for cochlear implants in terms of this project and to communicate regularly with donors about the progress of the project.

They are in need of sponsors for décor, sound and lighting for the event.
The organiser, Sonel Steyn, said, “We are also looking for some items which will be donated to the Cochlear Campaign to auction off at this evening to raise some extra funds.”

Companies and individuals that could assist financially can get in contact Sonel on 074 889 4715 or sonel.steyn1979@gmail.com.
