Join the march and fight crime in Pinetown

People are invited to be part of a crime awareness campaign.

ETHEKWINI Inner and Outer West Cluster in conjunction with the Cluster Police Community Forum invites people to join the crime awareness march which will be held in Pinetown on Friday, 2 September.

The aim of the campaign is to address various crimes in the Pinetown area, particularly street robberies that are taking place in the Pinetown CBD.

Metro Police, Department of Community Safety and Liaison, Department of Social Development, Santaco, and local businesses will also be participating in the campaign.

Entertainers, DJ Sox, T’zozo and Phumlani Dube will also join the march which will start from the Pinetown Civic Centre at 10am.

The march will proceed along Kings Road up to the main taxi rank and back to the Civic Centre.
