If you are wanting to attract the local wildlife to your garden this spring, this is the talk for you!

THE Hillcrest AIDS Centre Trust’s Plant Nursery will be host a Spring Day talk by local gardening expert and Principal of the School of Garden Design, Lindsay Gray on Thursday, 1 September.

The talk, entitled Spring and Other Things, will include Lindsay’s top tips for getting the most out of your garden this spring as well as practical advice on how to add colour and attract local wildlife to your garden. The talk will be held from 9am to 11am at the Hillcrest AIDS Centre Trust, with tickets selling for R60 per person which includes lights refreshments and a free entry into the centre’s Spring Day raffle competition.

The Plant Nursery will also launch its spring sale on the day, where all plants and garden décor will be available for 10 per cent off during the month of September.

Lindsay Gray said, “The School of Garden Design is delighted to be partnering with the Hillcrest AIDS Centre Trust to hold this event. I believe the centre’s nursery is one of the hidden gems in the Upper Highway area and through this event we hope to make the public more aware of the centre and its important work in helping people impacted by HIV/AIDS.”

Space is limited and pre-booking is essential. Tickets are on sale at the Hillcrest AIDS Centre. For bookings contact Claire Hodgkinson on 031 765 5866 or e-mail fundraising@hillaids.org.za
