PINETOWN Boys’ High School August SPAR Star of the Month, Jabulisa Mhlane, is actively involved in all aspects of the school. As the deputy prefect in charge of the FET phase, he maintains discipline among the Grade 10 to 12 pupils as well as getting them involved in the school activities.
Jabulisa participates in chess, cross country and is in the hockey team. He completed the toastmasters course in Grade 11, giving him the confidence and public speaking training necessary to address the FET assembly. Academics are also important to Jabulisa, he maintains an aggregate of 86,5 per cent and is always in the top three in the grade.
