DEMI Robertson, a Grade 5 pupil at Winston Park Primary School, represented KZN at the National Gymnastics Championships in Pinetown during the holidays and came third overall out of 15 girls in level 7 to 10. She came first on vault and third on beam.
Demi started gymnastics at the age of five and was chosen to represent KZN every year since she started. She came second in level 3, and first in level 4, second in level 6 and third in level 7. Last year she was awarded her KZNGU half colours with merit.
Demi is currently on level 8 and on the squad team training for the 2022 Commonwealth Games. She trains 13 hours a week and is passionate about gymnastics and hopes to represent South Africa at the Olympics in the future.
