Man dies in Spagetti Junction smash
Traffic was severely affected while emergency workers and investigators attended the scene.
A TAXI driver died when his vehicle overturned on the N2 near the M7 Spaghetti Interchange.
Shortly after 4.30pm yesterday, paramedics arrived on the scene where they found the taxi lying on its side against the middle barrier of the highway.
According to ER24 medics at the scene, the body of the driver was found a few meters away from the taxi. It is believed he was ejected from the vehicle when it overturned.
Another man, believed to be the conductor of the taxi sustained moderate injuries in the crash. He was treated on the scene and later transported to hospital.
The exact cause of the incident is not yet known.
