Women’s tea to raise funds for SHE Foundation

Book your tickets now to help raise much-needed funds for the SHE Foundation, which supports abused women and children.

THE SHE Foundation will host a morning fundraiser consisting of delicious eats, fine music and inspirational talks at the Kloof Country Club on Tuesday, 2 August from 10am to 12.15pm.

Guests can look forward to enchanting entertainment from the Tekweni Strings, who play the violin, viola and cello and there will be an array of delicious eats and speciality teas from The Tea Merchant.

“Our main item is an inspirational talk by Claire Newton. She is a renowned speaker, psychologist, life coach, trainer and just an all round amazing woman and you will leave her talk feeling empowered, inspired and ready to take on your world,” said Priya Boshoff, a finalist in the Mrs India SA pageant 2016 and host of the fundraiser.

Take along your husbands, male friends, colleagues and bosses and let them be a part of this special celebration of women. All proceeds will be donated to the SHE Foundation, an initiative which aims at building an overnight shelter and sanctuary for women and children who are victims of abuse.

“As part of our social responsibility, all finalists of the pageant are required to raise funds for a charity organisation. My aim is to raise as much funds for this project, as well as create awareness of the Foundation. By doing so, this will assist in the Foundation fulfilling its primary goal, acquire land or a facility on which it can develop and build an overnight shelter for abused women and children,” said Priya.

Tickets cost R350 a person or you can book a table of 10 for R3200 per table. To book, donate or for exhibitor opportunities, email fundraisers108@gmail.com.
