A 20-YEAR-OLD man was arrested in his home at Lusikisiki in the Eastern Cape for a murder committed in Embo..
Hillcrest SAPS communications officer, Cst Ndumiso Manqele, said it is alleged that on Sunday, 15 May at about 10pm, the man and the victim, who was known as Thuthani, had a fight which led the stabbing of the deceased.
“He [the suspect] fled the scene on the same night and a case of murder was reported at Hillcrest police station.The investigations led to the arrest of the man in his hide-out in the Eastern Cape,” said Manqele.
The Acting Station Commander, Colonel Makhosazane Ntuli, commended the good work done by the detectives by making sure that the man was brought to books.
