Cafe brings fun and games for charity

Small business takes on a big challenge.

I LOVE My Coffee cafe in Kloof will host a fun and games evening to raise funds for the Jes Foord Foundation.

Owners, Caryn and Alyson Luck, said they took up this challenge as it sounded like a fun way to raise funds for an organisation they are close to and familiar with.

The Jes Foord Foundation offers free trauma counselling for survivors of rape and sexual assault, as well as to family and loved ones affected by the trauma. The foundation is committed to the full restoration and healing journey of the survivor and those affected by the trauma.

Jes Foord said, “I think this is awesome, to see a small business taking up a big challenge means a lot to the foundation.”

“Without our staff it will be difficult to make the day a success,” said shop owner Alyson Luck.

The game night will take place at St Mary’s School, Kloof on Friday, 29 July at 6pm.

Entry is R30 for adults and children over 10 years and R20 for children ages 4 to 9 years.

St Mary’s has sponsored the hall for the night, there are limited seats left. To book your spot contact orders@iluvcoffee.co.za or 031 764 0446.
