Healing through the word of God

The Restoration Covenance Ministries will be hosting a workshop for women on Saturday, 23 July at 2pm at 484 Main Road, Escombe.

PASTORS Ivan and Maureen Thavatiah of Restoration Covenance Ministries in Escombe say they have found their purpose in serving others. Their perspective of church is viewed as a social and spiritual empowerment hub for the community.

“Our primary functionality is centred around the restoration of the community through workshops, mentorship programmes, marriage seminars, discipleship, and conferences ,” said Pastor Maureen. Established in 2008 by both pastors, the Bible-based family church prides its self on being an inter-racial, cultural and inter-generational empowerment mechanism through the Spirit of the Word of God.

“Our focus changed from purely running a typical conventional church to touching and transforming people by biblical principles through training, tooling, teaching. Diversity is an integral part of our ministry and as such we also have a predominant young female worship team which falls under our principles of empowering women. These children didn’t.have a

musical background but Pastor Ivan has equipped them technically and spiritually from ground level up in this area. We have launched our first single internationally late last year and will be soon launching the full CD to reflect the heart of worship to people around the world.
