RASA hosts founders event
Take part in RASA's annual vellie drinking competition on Sunday, 4 July.
THE Rhodesia Association of South Africa, incorporating the Flame Lily Foundation, will host its annual Rhodes and Founders Sadza and Vellies get-together on Sunday, 4 July at Musketeers at the German Club at 7 Barham Road in Westville from 11am.
“This is an open invitation to all Rhodesians, young and old, who would like to join us for some fun. At this event we have our annual vellie drinking competition, so those of you who are going to enter, please do not forget to bring your vellies,” said Eddie de Beer, chairman of he Rhodesia Association of South Africa.
Entrance is R30 per adult, which includes the braai fire and sadza and gravy. There will be live music and all guests are urged to take along their own meat and a salad to share. There will be a limited amount of meat available to purchase at the venue on the night. A cash bar will be open, do not take along refreshments.
