A 19-YEAR-old woman was rescued out of Kloof Gorge on Tuesday afternoon after she had been running in the gorge.

ER24 spokesman, Russel Meiring, said rescue technicians had to use specialised equipment to make their way down to the patient.

It was believed that she lost her footing and fell down the cliff, said Meiring.
