Lace up for family fun day

There will be a host of fun activities for adults and children at the Rotary Club of Westville's Family Fun Day.

JOIN the Westville Rotary Club for its fun-filled family day at the Jimmy Bellows Sports Ground on Thursday, 16 June from 9am until late.

The Rotarians have an action-packed day planned, filled with activities to keep the whole family entertained.

The morning kicks off with a 5km run/walk at 9am and costs R40 for adults, R20 for U16s or R100 per family. There will also be numerous activities for the children, from games and pony rides to face-painting, all for free.

For the parents there will be a beer garden, music, food and stalls as well as a potjiekos competition. The Westville Farmers’ Market will also have stalls selling fresh produce.

“Everyone is welcome and proceeds will be donated to the Westville Community Policing Forum to assist in making Westville a safer place. Please come and join us for a fun-filled family day,” said Geoff Dawson, a Westville Rotarian.
