Support The Pop Up Street Store this June

Curro, Hillcrest and Hillcrest Presbyterian will open a store at the Upper Molweni Community Centre.

VARIOUS schools in the upper Highway, in conjunction with local churches, will be holding a Street Store for the homeless and disadvantaged people in the community on Saturday, 25 June from 8am to 12pm.

St Mary’s DSG, Kloof and City Hill, Pinetown will host it at City Hill, Pinetown, 56 Mariannhill Road, Pinetown.

Curro, Hillcrest and Hillcrest Presbyterian will open a store at the Upper Molweni Community Centre.

Thomas More and St Agnes’, Kloof will set up shop at Philangathemba (lower Molweni).

This initiative hopes to bring dignity to the homeless and disadvantage. The community is encouraged to assist with donating clothing and shoes, sponsorship and fencing.

Clothing and shoes can be dropped off at these stores and schools: SuperSPAR stores – Knowles (Pinetown), Richdens (Hillcrest), Village Mall (Kloof), Waterfall and Westville.

KwikSPAR Stores – Hattons, Hillcrest and Maytime.

Schools: Curro Hillcrest Christian Academy, St Mary’s DSG Kloof, Thomas More and any other participating school in the Highway area.
