And the winner is…

More than R47 000 was raised at Fulton School for the Deaf golf day fundraiser.

FULTON School for the Deaf hosted a golf day fundraiser on Friday, 27 May at Cotswold Downs Country Club.

The winners of the day were Britehouse SSD.

Tim Rautenbach, general manager for KwaZulu-Natal, congratulated and thanked all the staff and assistants from Fulton school for putting together such a great event.

“It was an honour for Britehouse, a division of Dimension Data, to be involved in making a small difference to the school and it’s learners,” he said.

Britehouse has a national involvement with hearing-impaired programmes and it was only fitting to get involved with the Fulton golf day.

“While the luck of the greens was with our Britehouse four-ball, it is Fulton school and it’s learners who ultimately earned the win. It was a great day out for all and we cannot wait to return next year,” he added.

Fulton School thanked all the golfers for supporting this fundraising day.

“Thank you to all the donors and sponsors for their generous contributions. There were some really lovely prizes. Without everyone’s support this fundraiser would not have been possible,” said a statement by the school.

Approximately R47 000 was raised, these much needed funds will assist the specialised work of educating Deaf children at Fulton.
