Three injured in N3 accidents
While helping stabalise the people from the first accident, paramedics witnessed a second accident on the opposite side of the highway.
THREE people were injured during a multiple vehicle collision on the N3 near Shongweni this morning.
According to Russel Meiring, spokesman for ER24, paramedics arrived on the scene and found that a bakkie and light motor vehicle had collided with two commuters injured.
“While paramedics were treating the people, a secondary collision occurred on the opposite side of the highway. ER24 paramedics witnessed the driver lose control of the vehicle, causing it to slam into the roadside barrier,” said Meiring. The driver had minor injuries.
All three of the injured commuters were treated at the scene and were taken to Life Westville Hospital.
