A man and a woman, both in their 50s, were killed this morning when their motorcycle collided with the roadside barrier on the N3 highway in Peacevale in KwaZulu-Natal.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene shortly after 9.15am and found the motorcycle leaning against the roadside barrier. The two bodies found halfway down the embankment some distance away.
Onassessment, paramedics found that the man and woman had sustained multiple fatal injuries. They were declared dead on scene. It is believed that the biker lost control of the motorcycle, causing them to slam into the roadside barrier.
Local authorities were on scene.
