A MAN, believed to be in his early 20s, died early this morning when his vehicle rolled off the M13 near Dawncliffe in Westville.
ER24 paramedics arrived oat the scene and found the overturned vehicle lying on the median. “It is believed that the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll and crash into a rock wall, coming to rest upside down,” said Russel Meiring, spokesman for ER24.
The man was alone and had a fatal head injury from the accident and was found dead on arrival. The fire department later freed the body of the deceased from the vehicle using the jaws of life.
The cause of the accident is not yet know and the local SAPS will be investigating.
