Fun-filled day to learn all about butterflies

There will be a number of interactive activity tables where children can learn all about the life-cycle of butterflies in a fun way.

KLOOF Conservancy and the Lepidopterists Society of Africa have joined forces to host a fun-filled day of butterfly information and butterfly hunting at the beautiful Tanglewood Farm, entrance in Westmead on Saturday, 9 April starting at 9.30am.

There will be a number of interactive activity tables where children (aimed at primary school children) can learn all about the life-cycle of butterflies in a fun way.

There will also be two guided butterfly walks at 10.30am and 12.30pm where you will walk through the reserve to look for butterflies under the guidance of experienced butterfly experts.

Entry is R30 for adults and R15 for children under 12.

There will also be a tuck-shop selling wors rolls and chicken burgers but you are welcome to take along your own picnic basket to enjoy on the banks of one of the dams in the reserve.
