Forest View Primary School SPAR Star of the Month - March 2016.

BRANDON Wild is Forest View Primary School’s SPAR Star of the Month.

The Grade 5 pupil is passionate about cricket and represents the U11A team at FVPS and has, though course of the year, produced some outstanding results. As a team they are currently undefeated this season. Brandon was invited to the first round of trials for Pinetown and Districts. After a good performance, he was selected to go through the final round. His hard work and dedication paid off as he was chosen for the Pinetown and Districts cricket squad.

His passion and commitment to the game has resulted in him being a top contender in the district and at school level.

He played for the Pinetown Puma’s team, which was one of two teams that played in the KZN U11 cricket festival in Durban North from Friday 4 March to Sunday 6 March at various schools.

Brandon’s team played six matches against various other districts in KZN throughout the weekend, and his team won four out of the six matches.

Brandon spends his free time playing cricket in all forms and lives to play the game each week. “He was chosen this month as our SPAR star because we know his cricket will go from strength to strength and we are very proud of him and wish him the best of luck for the rest of his cricketing career,” said said Shayleen Shum, principal at Forest View Primary School.
