Road closure to enable repair work
The local Road Traffic Inspectorate will be on site on national route N3 at Dr Chota Motala Interchange northbound on-ramp in Pietermaritzburg.
THE South African National Roads Agency Ltd (SANRAL) announced that there will be repair work conducted on National Route 3 at the Dr Chota Motala Interchange northbound on-ramp in Pietermaritzburg from Wednesday, 6 April to Friday, 8 April and Monday, 11 to Tuesday, 12 April.
The N3 will be reduced to one northbound lane on each day between 8.30am and 4pm except for the weekend.
The local Road Traffic Inspectorate will be on site to assist during the closures.
SANRAL apologised to motorists for any inconvenience caused and thanked them in advance for their patience while repair work is being undertaken.
The Agency takes seriously its mandate from government to manage and maintain the national road network.
In so doing, the safety and well being of road users and the communities in which it operates are paramount.
