Kirsten achieves all-round success

Kirsten Peter Mopp is Star College Boys' High School's SPAR Star of the Month.

KIRSTEN Peter Mopp (17) has earned a good reputation at Star College Boys’ High School as a friendly, helpful young man who goes out of his way to make other pupils feel welcome and happy at the school.

According to Murati Kalayci, deputy principal at the school, Kirsten participates in all school activities with gusto and enthusiasm. Fellow pupils have been overheard to say things such as “Kirsten is a genuine friend, someone we can always trust”.

Academically, Kirsten always gives of his best. He is always prepared to go the extra mile and consequently his results have been outstanding with him frequently coming in the top three in his Grade.

But life is not all study and academics for Kirsten. He is also one of Star College Boys’ High School’s fittest and most outstanding athletes and has won awards for distance and for sprint running. He is also an exemplary football player, a sport that he is enthusiastic about.

“All in all Kirsten is an all-rounder in the true sense of the word, a young man with achievable goals and who should one day make a positive contribution to our SA society. It is with these achievements that we have chosen him as the school’s SPAR Star of the Month,” said Kalayci.
