Help family find missing dog

A reward of R2 500 is available for whoever finds the missing dog.

MARIA Williams is appealing for anyone who has any information about her missing dog.

She was hijacked outside her New Germany home on Friday, 15 January and she lost more than just her car. Her Jack Russell, Minnie, was in the back seat of her car when the hijackers fled with it.

Williams said she was approached by two men, who were wearing blue overalls, outside her home while she was checking for the post. One of them took out a gun and threatened her with it while the other snatched her car keys from her hand.

She has reported a case of hijacking to the Pinetown Police Station and has put up missing posters for Minnie in New Germany and nearby areas.

So far none of the items that were taken with the car have been found

Minnie is almost 10 years old, she has a black and tan head with a white flash on her head and mostly white body. Williams is offering a reward of R2 500 for anyone who finds her dog.

“Minnie was a rescue dog, I got her from the SPCA and she has been part of my family for almost 10 years,” said Williams.
