KID’S Paradise Pre-School in Mariannridge turns 25 years this year and will be having a massive celebration.

Founded by pastor Samuel and Florina Louw in 1990 the school has touched many lives. The 25-year milestone celebration will take place on Saturday, 19 March, at the Mariannridge Community Hall.

The school is appealing to all former pupils of the school to be part of the preparations and own this celebration.

Currently there are 85 learners at the school and it is registered with Social Development and the Department of Education.

The pre-school is a model for other crèches and pre-schools, “The Department of Education sends people who want to open their own creches to us for guidance,” said Samuel Louw.

The school creates jobs and learnerships for the community, “In the past years we have sent girls abroad on Au pair opportunities and have offered internships at the school,” said Florina.

Florina said all these years her job has been to love and bless the children.

She said nothing is impossible, “My reward is seeing ordinary children achieving great things,” she said.

One of the very first learners on the school was professional soccer player Eden Nene from KwaNdengezi who will be bringing his child to the school this year.

The celebration will have fun and games for the children during the day and elegance and entertainment in the evening.
