Cheshire Home residents receive gifts

All residents of the Cheshire Home were extremely grateful and all had a fun time at the tea party.

WORKFORCE Staffing hosted a Christmas tea party for residents of the Cheshire Home for the disabled in Queensburgh.

Each resident was handed a gift box filled with toiletries which had been donated by the employees of Workforce Staffing, based in KZN. The company also donated appliances to the home: a chest freezer, an industrial toaster, a pot set and a steamer.

Manager of Cheshire Home, Brian Rossenrode, said the sponsorship from Workforce would assist them greatly, especially the appliances that will be of great value for meal preparation and storage. He also expressed his gratitude for the gifts and said that the residents were thrilled with their personal gifts.

Errol Strong, branch manager of Workforce Staffing PMB, said, “It was very fulfilling to see the joy of the 21 residents when they opened their gifts. We are hoping to do more drives of this nature for the home in the near future.”
