Kloof Round Table donates to Open Door Crisis project

The funds were raised from Uncle Jumbo's party to buy food for the underprivileged.

THE Kloof Round Table used R5 000 of funds raised from Uncle Jumbo’s party to buy food for the underprivileged.

The numerous packets of food were delivered to the Open Door Crisis Centre were they were immediately taken into KwaNyuswa to be given to 40 community workers and children in this rural area.

“For many of them, this will be the only food they will have over this Christmas period. We were absolutely overwhelmed by the generosity of Kloof Round Table when we saw the food coming,” said Thora Mansfield, centre founder.

The centre has been working in the KwaNyuswa area for the last six years and has seen extreme poverty in this area, which they are trying to help alleviate.

The Open Door Crisis Centre can be contacted on 031 709 2679.
