Missing Hillcrest pupil back home

His mother wishes to express her gratitude to the community for their prayers and support.

THE 16-year-old Hillcrest High School pupil, Paul Mkhize, who went missing yesterday, has been found and is back home safe and sound.

According to his mother, Hlengiwe Mkhize, he returned to his home in Berlin Road at around 9pm last night. Out of respect for the family’s privacy, the media has been asked to not go into details surrounding the boy’s return home.

However, his mother wishes to extend her gratitude to the community, Steven King and Roxanne Galns from Waterfall Crime Watch, Securelink, Leigh from Search and Rescue and everyone else who took to social media to spread the news of her son’s disappearance.

“I’m so happy my son is back home and unharmed. I just want to say thank you to everyone who supported my family through this time and helped us search for him,” said Hlengiwe.
