Suspected ISIS flag spotted in Pinetown

REPORTS of an Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) flag spotted hanging in a residential area in Pinetown surfaced on Tuesday.

This comes just days after the militant group claimed responsibility for attacks in Paris, where 120 people were killed.

Andreas Mathios, South African Community Action Network (SACAN) spokesman, said they received numerous calls from concerned residents in Padfield Park.

“Although we are not 100 per cent sure that is the ISIS flag, we have notified relevant authorities, who are investigating the matter,” he reported.
