Forest View pupils spell their way to the top

This was a highly competitive contest for the young pupils.

Forest View Primary pupils excelled in their spelling bee competition for Grade 4 to 7 learners.

The children had to learn 100 age-appropriate words and had clearly spent many hours learning them. The winners were selected by moving on to a far more challenging list of words that the learners had not seen in order to narrow down the contestants until they finally had a winner in each grade.

Results:

Grade 7 – First, Kelvin Hough and second, Qiniso Dlamini.

Grade 6 – First, Lusanda Malinga and second, Elizabeth Marais

Grade 5 – First, Zoe Shepperson and second, Lorenzo Stevens

Grade 4 – First, Joel Marais and second, Kelly Griessel.
