THE eThekwini Municipality is inviting all nature and fitness enthusiasts to register for the Green Trail Run that will be hosted by Green Hub on Saturday, 31 October.
In an effort to keep the city green, a tree will be planted for every online entry received.
Two races will be held – a 5km run for beginners, children and walkers, and a 10km run for those who enjoy more of a challenge. Registration is R60 for the 5km run and R85 for the 10km challenge. Registration on the day of the race is permitted, however be prepared to pay R10 more per entry. Participants are also requested to wear green on the day to show their support for nature and a greener Durban. The route starts and ends at the Green Hub at the Blue Lagoon.
