The Hillcrest Fencing Club hosted the fourth and final KZN closed ranking competition for the year at the Hillcrest Scout Hall recently.
This was a championship competition with four fencing clubs vying for the trophies: Hillcrest Fencing Club, University of KZN, Maestro (Kloof) and Durban North. Competitors ranged widely in both experience and age – some have fenced for over thirty years and others less than six months; some are under sixteen years old and others over seventy.
