Girl (11) killed in accident
This was the second accident to have take place on the N3 during the same day.
AN accident occurred on the N3 between the M7 and Richmond Road off-ramps in Pinetown on Sunday, 25 October, involving only one light motor vehicle which overturned on the road. The vehicle had a total of six occupants.
An 11-year-old girl was ejected from the vehicle and was declared dead on scene. The remaining five occupants sustained minor to moderate injuries. ER24 paramedics treated and transported one passenger to Westville Private Hospital.
“ER24 paramedics that were on scene would like to commend all medical services on scene for their teamwork and bravery,” said ER24 spokesman, Pieter Rossouw.
