Visit Cupcakes of Hope and the Cupcake Angels at The Pavilion Shopping Centre’s fountain court two on Saturday, 26 September.
In line with September being Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, one of the organisation’s major initiatives is that of South Africa’s National Cupcake Day 4 Kids with Cancer, where they are able to distribute informative leaflets to the public that describe the early cancer warning signs as well as raise much-needed funds for its beneficiaries.
Cupcakes of Hope is a non-profit company that aims to raise awareness and funds for families in need of medical assistance through the baking and selling of cupcakes.
Last year, the third National Cupcake Day 4 Kids with Cancer was held at a number of malls across South Africa, and they raised R1.2-million for children with cancer. This year, they hope to go beyond that amount and are encouraging the public to get involved.
