Stacy Cross, a bride-to-be who is getting married at a venue in the Midlands tomorrow (5 September), is experiencing massive relief after her wedding dress, which she lost yesterday, will be returned.
Stacy was driving along the M13 in Kloof when her dress fell out of the bakkie she was travelling in. She did not realise until she had reached her destination that her dress was missing.
Appeals went out in the media for the return of the dress before her wedding, and a kind gentleman from Gillitts, named only as ‘Dan’, made contact over live radio this morning to tell her that he had found her dress and would return it to her today. Stacy’s relief was clear from the tone of her voice, and now she can proceed with her happy day tomorrow in the dress she chose for the occasion.
