Friends of Kloof Library forum
The talk is entitled 'The Rise of the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham' and will be held at the Kloof Junior Primary School Hall.
THE Friends of Kloof Library will have the former UKZN Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Professor of Religious Studies, Reverend Professor Ron Nicholson, as speaker at their next forum.
Reverend Professor Ron Nicholson’s talk is entitled ‘The Rise of ISIS – The Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham’, an extreme religious group that resonates globally with acts of merciless brutality and destruction and presents an international threat to civil peace and security.
The talk will be held at the Kloof Junior Primary School Hall in Abelia Road, Kloof at 6pm on Wednesday, 9 September. Tickets are R50 and R30 for members of Friends. Contact Kloof Library on 031 764 7543.
