A GUN that was suspected to have been stolen during a Pinetown house robbery was recovered in Ntuzuma.
KZN police spokesman, Col Jay Naicker, said KwaMashu police were performing crime prevention duties when they received information of drugs at a premises in Sitheku Road.
“They searched the house and recovered ten pieces of crack cocaine with a street value of R1 000. A .38 revolver with four rounds of live ammunition were also recovered from the house.
“A 38-year-old man was arrested for possession of drugs as well as for possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition,” said Naicker.
The man will appear in the Ntuzuma Magistrate’s Court.
